The longest day of the year. Everything in full bloom. The light that never quite seems to end.
Summer Solstice opens up the way the day does - bright and a little sharp, grapefruit and rhubarb cutting through with a tartness that wakes you up, mint threading through underneath like a cool breeze through an open window. Then the garden comes alive through the middle: lavender, rose, and apple, lush and layered, the smell of every flower open at once, of fruit hanging heavy on the branch, of the whole world deciding to show off just a little. Warm vanilla settles underneath like the last long light of evening - soft, sweet, unhurried.
This one was one of our firsts. We've kept it because some things are exactly right from the beginning.
Hand-poured in small batches. Wooden wick for that soft, gentle crackle. And tucked inside, a small obsidian crystal infused heart - placed there by hand, because every detail matters to us.
